The UK property market in April 2019 has shown a slowdown in annual growth, but make no mistake – prices are still rising, which is great news for every local estate agent. The average property price across the UK increased 1.4% in the year to April 2019, compared to a rise of 1.6% in March.
Across the UK, house prices remained highest in England (despite house prices actually dropping by 1.2% in London, although London remains the location with the average highest house prices) with Wales showing the greatest increase in prices. In the year to April 2019, Welsh house prices have increased by 6.7%.
